A unique piece of modern embroidery art.

A second-hand yellow paint card - You Are My Sunshine - has been embellished with collage elements from second-hand magazines, and then hand-stitched onto a second-hand postcard with a geometric design.

The postcard, bought by my Mum, depicts The Painter's Daughters by Thomas Gainsborough. At the time, she wrote, "Visit to London with Mum 16/11/74" on the back.
